Are we allowed to have controlled burns in the city limits of Waxahachie?
Answer:
As a general rule, controlled burns are not allowed within the city limits due
to state regulations. Exceptions are made for clearing areas for new
construction, but must be approved through the Fire Marshal's office. The
Fire Marshal's office can be contacted at 972-937-1200.

How can I become a firefighter for the City of Waxahachie?
Answer:
Waxahachie Fire Rescue welcomes all who are interested in becoming a firefighter
and wanting to improve the quality of life in the City of Waxahachie to apply.
